1. CAE & Structural Mechanics Simulations:
Perform nonlinear, thermo-mechanical, frequency response, transient, and random vibration analysis.
Conduct HCF & LCF assessments for static, time series, thermal, and vibration loading.
Evaluate fatigue of welded joints, structures, and electronic packages.
Analyze vibration failures, especially in EV Battery Packs.
Conduct thermo-elastoplastic & fatigue assessment of SFRP components.
2. Structural Worthiness & Design Optimization:
Verify the structural worthiness of two-wheeler components during the design stage using CAE software.
Optimize designs based on simulation results and physical testing.
Provide feedback for new product designs and improvements.
3. Vehicle Dynamics & MBD Simulations:
Develop comprehensive models for both rigid and flex MBD simulations.
Conduct FE evaluations, 2-post analysis, fatigue hotspot location, and load extraction to improve simulation accuracy.
Support the design and development of Suspension and Brakes Systems.
4. Durability Analysis & Field Failure Simulation:
Analyze the durability of bodyworks, closures, and chassis structures.
Simulate field failures, propose cost/weight reduction evaluations, and conduct optimization studies.
Correlate simulation results with physical lab testing.
5. Computational Analysis & Automation:
Utilize computational tools such as nCode, Matlab – Simulink, and Python.
Automate analysis processes and enhance modeling techniques.
Support the testing team in validation, benchmarking tests, and test profile development.
6. Thermal, Aerodynamics & NVH Analysis:
Conduct thermal simulations to study heat transfer and optimize thermal management.
Analyze vehicle aerodynamics to enhance performance.
Evaluate NVH performance to ensure a smooth and quiet ride experience.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Additional qualifications would be an advantage.
Minimum 8-10 years of experience in simulation and analysis, ideally within the two-wheeler industry.
Strong understanding of vehicle dynamics, mechanics, and design principles.
Proficiency in simulation software tools such as ANSYS, HyperWorks, Motionview, Matlab, Simulink, and Python.
Excellent problem-solving abilities with a meticulous attention to detail.
Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting strict deadlines and quality standards.
