Job Title: Logistics ExecutiveJob Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Executive to manage and coordinate transportation, inventory, warehousing, and distribution activities. The ideal candidate will ensure timely delivery of goods, optimize logistics processes, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Monitor transportation schedules and track shipments.
- Liaise with transporters, vendors, warehouse teams, and customers.
- Prepare and maintain logistics documentation, including invoices, delivery challans, e-way bills, and shipping records.
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular stock reconciliation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and transportation regulations.
- Resolve logistics-related issues such as delays, damages, or delivery discrepancies.
- Analyze logistics costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly logistics reports.
- Support warehouse operations and coordinate dispatch activities.
- Maintain accurate records in ERP/software systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1–5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse management, or supply chain operations.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and logistics software.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of inventory management and warehouse operations.
- Understanding of transportation regulations and documentation.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with SAP, Tally, Oracle, or other ERP systems.
