Role Description: This is a full-time, on-site Tally Operator role based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The Tally Operator will manage day-to-day finance and accounting operations, including recording transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and preparing invoices and payment records. Responsibilities include monitoring accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities. The role involves preparing basic financial reports, assisting with budgeting and cost tracking for events and conferences, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations. The Tally Operator will collaborate with the operations and event teams to provide accurate financial data, support internal audits, and help optimize financial processes.
Qualifications
- Accounting Expertise: Strong skills in bookkeeping, general ledger management, and financial record-keeping.
- AP/AR Management: Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable management, including invoice processing and payment tracking.
- Reconciliation & Reporting: Proven ability in bank reconciliation, expense tracking, and supporting monthly/annual closing activities, as well as basic financial reporting, budgeting support, and cost analysis.
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar) and office tools such as Microsoft Excel.
- Taxation Knowledge: A solid understanding of Indian taxation, GST, and compliance requirements is highly beneficial.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field (relevant certifications are a plus).
- Core Skills: Strong numerical aptitude, extreme attention to detail, and the ability to maintain accurate records in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication: Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Bonus: Prior experience in event management, media, or services industries is a plus but not mandatory.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
