Role Description :
We are looking to hire dedicated Hostel Wardens for our Girls Hostels to manage and oversee the day-to-day functioning of our campus hostels. The role involves ensuring student safety, maintaining discipline, delivering a high-quality living experience, and managing hostel and mess operations efficiently.
Wardens will act as the primary point of contact for residents, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and well-managed residential environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Hostel Operations & Administration
- Oversee daily operations of assigned hostels and mess facilities
- Ensure adherence to SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and defined SLAs (Service Level Agreements)
- Maintain records related to occupancy, attendance, and incidents
- Resident Supervision & Welfare
- Act as the first point of contact for students residing in the hostel
- Ensure discipline, safety, and adherence to hostel rules
- Address student concerns, grievances, and emergencies promptly
- Provide health and well-being support to residents as needed (e.g., during illness or emergencies).
- Safety & Security
- Ensure strict implementation of security protocols and access control
- Conduct regular rounds and checks within the hostel premises
- Coordinate with security teams to handle incidents and emergencies
- Hygiene & Facilities Management
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and upkeep
- Supervise housekeeping and maintenance teams
- Ensure timely resolution of maintenance issues
- Mess & Food Quality Oversight
- Monitor food quality, hygiene, and meal service standards
- Ensure timely and smooth functioning of mess operations
- Take feedback from students and implement improvements
- Team Coordination
- Work closely with housekeeping, security, and mess staff
- Train and guide support staff on expected standards and conduct
Who You Are:
- 5–7 years of experience in hostel management, student housing, or hospitality
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills
- High sense of responsibility, discipline, and integrity
- Ability to handle emergencies and student facing communications
- Willingness to stay on campus and work flexible hours
