Machine Operation
- Operate 3-Axis VMC machines for machining automotive components and tool room parts.
- Load and unload workpieces safely and efficiently.
- Perform machine setup, workpiece clamping, and fixture alignment.
- Execute approved CNC programs and monitor machining operations.
- Perform offset corrections and minor program edits as required.
Production Activities
- Achieve daily production targets while maintaining quality standards.
- Monitor machining cycle time and machine performance.
- Ensure proper coolant levels and chip removal during machining.
- Minimize machine downtime through efficient operation.
Tool Management
- Install, change, and preset cutting tools.
- Monitor tool wear and replace tools when required.
- Maintain proper tool offsets and tooling records.
- Report damaged or worn tools to the supervisor.
Quality Control
- Inspect machined components using precision measuring instruments such as:
- Vernier Caliper
- Micrometer
- Height Gauge
- Bore Gauge
- Dial Indicator
- Thread Gauges
- Ensure components meet drawing specifications and tolerance requirements.
- Perform first-piece and in-process inspections.
- Segregate and report non-conforming parts.
Machine Maintenance
- Perform daily machine cleaning and lubrication.
- Conduct routine autonomous maintenance as per TPM guidelines.
- Report machine abnormalities or breakdowns immediately.
- Maintain machine housekeeping and cleanliness.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
