We are looking for a professional and customer-focused Front Office Guest Service Associate (GSA) to join our Front Office team. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in hotel front office operations, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest service.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests in a warm and professional manner.
- Handle guest check-in and check-out efficiently.
- Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly.
- Manage room reservations and ensure accurate room allocation.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Maintain guest records and update information in the Property Management System (PMS).
- Handle cash, card, and other payment transactions accurately.
- Answer telephone calls and direct them appropriately.
- Provide guests with information about hotel facilities, local attractions, and services.
- Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Follow hotel SOPs, grooming standards, and service protocols.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a hotel Front Office department.
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management or a related field.
- Good communication skills in English and Malayalam. Knowledge of Hindi will be an added advantage.
- Experience with hotel PMS software (e.g., WinHMS, IDS, Opera, or similar) is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Positive attitude and guest-oriented approach.
- Willingness to work rotational shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
