Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (B.E.) / Technology (B.Tech.) or equivalent qualification from a recognized university or institution.
- Preferred disciplines: Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Energy Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or related fields.
Certification Requirements
- Lead Verifier Certification for ISO 14064-1, ISO 14064-2, and ISO 14064-3.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Validation and Verification activities as a Team Member in GHG (Greenhouse Gas) projects.
Job Summary
We are looking for a qualified and motivated Power / Energy Engineer Auditor to support validation and verification assignments related to energy management, GHG accounting, carbon emissions reporting, and compliance under the Carbon Credit Trading Scheme (CCTS). The candidate will work as part of the verification team to assess, validate, and verify energy and GHG-related information in accordance with applicable standards, regulations, and accreditation requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in validation and verification assignments for energy and GHG-related projects.
- Conduct evidence gathering, data review, site assessments, interviews, and document verification activities.
- Review GHG inventories, emission calculations, monitoring systems, and reporting methodologies.
- Assess compliance with Energy Conservation (Amendment) Act, 2022, Environment Protection Act, 1986, Carbon Credit Trading Scheme (CCTS), 2023, and other applicable regulations.
- Verify the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of submitted data and supporting evidence.
- Assist in risk assessments, materiality assessments, and verification planning activities.
- Evaluate monitoring and reporting systems related to energy consumption and GHG emissions.
- Prepare verification working papers, findings, observations, and technical reports.
- Support senior verifiers and technical reviewers during validation and verification engagements.
- Ensure compliance with organizational procedures, accreditation requirements, and verification protocols.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
