Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic Guidance Counsellor to support students in their academic, emotional, and career development. The ideal candidate will help students make informed decisions about their education and future while promoting overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide academic and career counselling to students
- Conduct one-on-one and group counselling sessions
- Guide students on subject selection, career paths, and higher education opportunities
- Identify students facing emotional or behavioral challenges and provide appropriate support
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to track student progress
- Organize workshops, seminars, and career guidance sessions
- Maintain confidential student records and reports
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Counselling, or related field
- Certification in Guidance & Counselling (preferred)
- 1–5 years of experience in a school or educational institution
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build trust and maintain confidentiality
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of career planning tools and psychometric assessments
- Empathy and active listening skills
- Strong organizational abilities
Pay: ₹12,840.99 - ₹49,779.60 per month
