Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Estimation Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on performing accurate material and quantity takeoffs from architectural drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform quantity takeoffs from construction drawings with precision and accuracy
- Prepare and update BOQs (Bill of Quantities) for ongoing and upcoming projects
- Use Stack to extract measurements and interpret construction details
- Maintain organized documentation of drawings, revisions, and quantity logs
- Identify discrepancies in drawings and escalate to the supervisor when necessary
Requirements:
- Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in estimation or quantity surveying
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Plan Reading and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to interpret architectural drawings accurately
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective verbal and written communication
Preferred:
- Familiarity with residential or commercial construction projects
- Knowledge of local construction materials and standards
