Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and skilled Anesthesia Technician to join our healthcare team. The candidate will be responsible for assisting anesthesiologists and surgical teams before, during, and after medical procedures by ensuring the proper preparation, maintenance, and operation of anesthesia equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and check anesthesia machines, monitors, ventilators, and other required equipment before procedures.
- Assist anesthesiologists during surgeries and other medical procedures.
- Ensure the availability of necessary anesthesia drugs, supplies, and equipment.
- Monitor and maintain anesthesia equipment for proper functioning.
- Assist in patient preparation before anesthesia procedures.
- Follow infection control, safety, and hospital protocols.
- Handle, clean, sterilize, and maintain anesthesia-related equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and inventory.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations in the operation theatre.
- Coordinate effectively with doctors, nurses, and OT staff.
Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in Anesthesia Technology or a relevant healthcare qualification.
- 2 - 5 years of relevant experience as an Anesthesia Technician.
- Strong knowledge of anesthesia equipment and OT procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced surgical environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of patient safety and infection control protocols.
Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
