Job Summary
AIS Glass is looking for a skilled and proactive Electrical Engineer (Maintenance) to join our Maintenance team in Nashik. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring maximum machine uptime through preventive maintenance, quick breakdown resolution, and effective electrical system management in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities Maintenance Activities
- Execute preventive and predictive maintenance activities for electrical systems and equipment.
- Attend and resolve electrical breakdowns with minimum downtime.
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Maintain machine availability and reliability.
Electrical Management
- Monitor electrical panels, power distribution systems, and critical equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
- Ensure proper functioning of motors, drives, sensors, and control systems.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and company policies.
- Identify and eliminate unsafe electrical conditions.
- Support safety audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Promote a safe working environment across the plant.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or B.E. in Electrical Engineering.
- Candidates with ITI qualification and 5+ years of relevant experience may also apply.
- 3–5 years of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in Automotive Glass, Glass Manufacturing, or related industries will be preferred.
Technical Skills
- Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
- Knowledge of PLC systems and VFDs.
- Experience in handling electrical breakdowns and root cause analysis.
- Good problem-solving and coordination abilities.
