Job Description: Head Chef
Location: Mumbai
Salary: ₹35,000 – ₹45,000 per month
Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen operations in Mumbai. The ideal candidate should have strong culinary skills, team leadership experience, and the ability to maintain high food quality and kitchen standards in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily kitchen operations and food preparation
- Design and update menus based on customer preferences and seasonal ingredients
- Ensure consistent food quality, taste, and presentation
- Manage kitchen staff, scheduling, and training
- Monitor inventory, food costing, and wastage control
- Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards
- Coordinate with management for events, promotions, and special menus
- Ensure timely service during peak hours
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Chef
- Strong knowledge of Indian, Continental, or multi-cuisine preparation
- Ability to lead and motivate a kitchen team
- Good understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene standards
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Culinary diploma or hotel management qualification preferred
- Experience in restaurant, café, cloud kitchen, or hospitality industry
