Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Production Engineer to support manufacturing operations, production planning, quality compliance, and process improvement activities. The candidate will work closely with senior engineers and shop-floor teams to ensure smooth execution of production activities while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assistin day-to-day production activities and shop-floor coordination.
- Monitorfabrication, assembly, and manufacturing processes to ensure timely execution.
- Supportproduction planning and scheduling to achieve delivery targets.
- Coordinatewith design, procurement, quality, and project teams for smooth workflow.
- Ensureadherence to quality standards, SOPs, and safety practices.
- Prepareand maintain production reports, process documentation, and work records.
- Identifyproduction issues and support troubleshooting activities.
- Participatein continuous improvement initiatives for productivity and efficiency enhancement.
- Assistin material handling, inventory tracking, and resource utilization.
- Ensureproper usage and maintenance of tools, machines, and equipment.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Basicunderstanding of manufacturing and fabrication processes.
- Knowledgeof engineering drawings and production documentation.
- Familiaritywith MS Excel, ERP systems, and reporting tools.
- Goodcommunication and coordination skills.
- Strongproblem-solving attitude and willingness to learn.
- Abilityto work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Internshipor training experience in manufacturing/production environment.
- Exposureto pharmaceutical equipment or process industries will be an added advantage.
- Knowledgeof GMP, ASME,fabrication standards, or industrial safety practices preferred.
