Job Summary
The SEL Teacher is responsible for promoting students' social, emotional, and behavioural development by delivering structured SEL lessons, fostering emotional well-being, and creating a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate Social Emotional Learning (SEL) lessons.
- Foster self-awareness, empathy, resilience, communication, and relationship skills among students.
- Conduct classroom activities, circle time, mindfulness, and life skills sessions.
- Promote positive behaviour and support students' emotional well-being.
- Collaborate with teachers, counsellors, and parents to address students' developmental needs.
- Observe student progress and maintain relevant records and reports.
- Organize school-wide well-being initiatives, awareness programs, and SEL activities.
- Participate in professional development and school events.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Psychology, Education, Child Development, Counselling, or a related field.
- B.Ed. will be added advantage.
- Certification in SEL, Life Skills, or Counselling is an added advantage.
Experience
- 2–5 years of teaching, counselling, or student well-being experience in a school setting.

- Understanding of child development and SEL practices.
- Classroom management and facilitation skills.
- Empathy, patience, and collaboration.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹29,000.00 per month
