Woodnest Developers Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Civil Estimation Engineer to prepare accurate cost estimates and project budgets for residential and commercial construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for quantity take-offs, rate analysis, BOQ preparation, and cost planning to support project execution and business development activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil construction projects.
- Analyze architectural, structural, and MEP drawings for quantity take-offs.
- Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and cost sheets.
- Conduct rate analysis for materials, labor, and subcontract works.
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Assist in project budgeting and cost planning.
- Coordinate with design, procurement, and project execution teams.
- Monitor market rates of construction materials and labor.
- Prepare tender documents and support bid submissions.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Maintain estimation records and project cost databases.
Requirements
- Diploma/B.Tech/B.E in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in civil estimation and quantity surveying.
- Strong knowledge of residential and commercial construction projects.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and service drawings.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software.
- Good analytical and mathematical skills.
- Strong communication and coordination abilities.
Pay: From ₹18,000.00 per month
