Role Overview
As a Senior Engineer – Projects & Support, you will lead the design, implementation, and handover of Fire Safety and IBMS solutions for high-value enterprise clients. This role demands technical expertise, project leadership, and cross-functional coordination to ensure on-time, quality delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project execution for Fire Safety & IBMS systems across locations.
- Work with PMC, architects, consultants, and internal teams from scope finalization to handover.
- Design suppression systems and configure panels across leading OEMs.
- Manage multi-location, networked safety deployments including Data Centres.
- Handle budgets, resource planning, documentation, training, and client communication
- Ensure regulatory, safety, and quality compliance throughout project lifecycle.
- Maintain project governance including progress tracking, risk control, and escalation handling.
- Stay updated on emerging fire safety and smart building technologies.
What You Bring
- Deep experience in Fire Alarm, Suppression, and IBMS project execution.
- Proven track record in handling large-scale enterprise deployments.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
- Hands-on ability with tools like AutoCAD, Excel, and preferably Power BI.
- Professional presence and the ability to represent VELAN in senior client meetings.
