Role Overview
SpiderWorks Technologies is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented SEO Intern to join its Digital Marketing team. The intern will assist with various SEO activities, including keyword research, on-page and off-page optimisation, competitor analysis, content optimisation, and website performance monitoring.
This internship offers an opportunity to gain practical experience by working on live projects and learning industry-standard SEO techniques under the guidance of experienced professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct keyword research using relevant SEO tools.
- Assist with on-page SEO activities, including title tags, meta descriptions, headings, and URL optimisation.
- Support off-page SEO initiatives such as link building, directory submissions, and outreach.
- Analyse competitors and identify SEO opportunities.
- Monitor website performance using Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
- Assist with technical SEO audits and identify potential website issues.
- Optimise website content to improve search visibility and rankings.
- Prepare regular SEO performance reports using relevant data.
- Keep up to date with Google algorithm changes, SEO trends, and industry best practices.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of SEO principles and practices.
- Knowledge of search engines, ranking factors, and organic search.
- Familiarity with Google Search Console and Google Analytics is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel or Google Sheets.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
