Sourcing Manager
Reporting To: Sr. Material Manager
Qualification: Bachelor’s (Engineering / BSc / MSc) + MBA/DBM (Supply Chain/Material Management preferred)
Experience: 5–7 years (2–4 years in electronics/resistor manufacturing preferred)
Role Summary
Responsible for strategic sourcing, vendor development, and cost-effective procurement of raw materials and components for resistor manufacturing, ensuring quality, timely delivery, and supply continuity.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop sourcing strategies for materials (ceramic cores, resistance wire, metal parts, chemicals, packaging)
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers; maintain AVL
- Lead vendor negotiations and drive cost optimization
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Stores, Finance, NPD, and Sales
- Ensure uninterrupted material availability and manage supply risks
- Handle contracts, compliance, and import sourcing
- Track KPIs, cost savings, and sourcing performance
Key Skills
Vendor negotiation, strategic sourcing, cost analysis, ERP (SAP/Oracle), technical knowledge of electronic components, strong coordination
Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
