Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled, experienced MEP Engineer to manage and supervise Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) work on various building projects. The candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, coordinating, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems while ensuring quality, safety, and timely project completion.
Key Responsibilities
Electrical Works
- Supervise electrical installation works, including HT/LT systems, panels, transformers, cable laying, lighting, earthing, and DG systems.
- Coordinate testing and commissioning of electrical systems.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and approved drawings.
Mechanical & HVAC Works
- Supervise HVAC installation and related mechanical systems.
- Coordinate ducting, ventilation, and air conditioning works.
- Ensure proper functioning and testing of HVAC systems.
Plumbing & Fire Fighting Works
- Supervise plumbing and drainage systems installation.
- Coordinate firefighting and fire alarm system works.
- Ensure compliance with building and safety regulations.
Project Coordination
- Review MEP drawings, BOQ, layouts, and technical specifications.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, vendors, and site teams.
- Monitor project schedules and ensure timely completion of work.
- Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues.
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare project reports, material reconciliation, and progress updates.
- Maintain proper records of site activities, approvals, and assist in billing & invoicing.
- Verify contractor bills and work completion reports.
Quality & Safety
- Ensure all MEP works are executed as per approved standards and specifications.
- Maintain workplace safety and ensure compliance with safety norms.
- Conduct testing, commissioning, and snag rectification activities.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems and building services.
- Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings and technical documents.
- Knowledge of project execution, estimation, and coordination.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage site activities and manpower effectively.
Qualification
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in MEP projects and building services.
Preferred Candidate
- Experience in commercial, residential, industrial, or high-rise building projects.
- Knowledge of testing and commissioning procedures.
- Familiarity with safety standards and MEP coordination.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
