Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounting operations, statutory compliance, taxation, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have sound knowledge of GST filing, TDS filing, bookkeeping, payroll support, and accounting software.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounting transactions and books of accounts.
- Prepare and record journal entries, receipts, payments, and bank transactions.
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
- Prepare and file GST Returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, Annual Returns, etc.) within statutory deadlines.
- Prepare and file TDS Returns, ensure timely deduction, deposit, and reconciliation.
- Generate GST and TDS reports and resolve reconciliation issues.
- Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Verify vendor bills, employee reimbursements, and process payments.
- Assist in monthly payroll processing and statutory deductions.
- Prepare MIS reports, financial statements, and monthly reports for management.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and government authorities during audits and assessments.
- Maintain proper documentation and statutory records.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards, tax laws, and company policies.
- Support year-end closing and financial audit activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in B.Com, M.Com, or equivalent.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in Accounting and Finance.
- Experience in handling GST and TDS compliance is mandatory.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of GST filing and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of TDS deduction, payment, and return filing.
- Knowledge of Income Tax and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in Tally Prime, MS Excel, and accounting software.
- Good understanding of bookkeeping and financial reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in educational institutions is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of payroll processing and statutory compliances such as PF and ESI.
- Familiarity with ERP/accounting systems.
