Key Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Development & Implementation:
- Plan and execute age-appropriate lessons and activities aligned with developmental milestones.
- Incorporate play-based learning, storytelling, art, and music to enhance cognitive and motor skills.
- Child Development:
- Observe and assess each child's progress, identifying individual needs and adapting teaching methods accordingly.
- Support emotional, social, and behavioral development through positive reinforcement and conflict resolution strategies.
- Classroom Management:
- Maintain a safe, organized, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Supervise children at all times, ensuring their safety during indoor and outdoor activities.
- Communication:
- Build strong relationships with parents/guardians, providing regular updates on their child's progress.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to enhance the overall learning experience.
- Compliance & Safety:
- Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene standards as per school policies.
- Stay informed of state regulations and educational best practices for early childhood education.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (preferred).
- Certification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent (required).
- Experience:
- Previous experience as a preschool educator or in a similar role (preferred).
