Job Title: Planning Engineer – Civil

Salary: ₹35,000 – ₹50,000 per month (Negotiable)
Job Summary
Baseline is seeking a Planning Engineer – Civil with experience in planning, estimation, and project monitoring for industrial and commercial construction projects. The role focuses on scheduling, cost estimation, progress tracking, and supporting efficient project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, work programs, and milestone plans.
- Monitor project progress and track performance against approved schedules.
- Prepare and update daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, and quantity take-offs based on project drawings and specifications.
- Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements for planning and estimation purposes.
- Coordinate with site teams, contractors, consultants, and project managers to ensure alignment of project activities.
- Identify potential delays and recommend corrective actions to maintain project timelines.
- Assist in resource planning, including manpower, materials, and equipment requirements.
- Support project budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and progress measurement.
- Maintain project documentation and planning records.
- Participate in project review meetings and provide planning updates to stakeholders.
Qualification & Experience
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- M.Tech in Construction Management, Structural Engineering, or a related field will be preferred.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in project planning, estimation, or project controls for industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and MS Excel.
- Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, cost estimation, project scheduling, and resource planning.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and construction methodologies.
- Strong analytical, reporting, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
