Job Overview
We are hiring a System & Network Administrator with hands-on experience in server administration, network security, and Sophos Firewall management. The role focuses on maintaining secure IT infrastructure, managing firewall rules and priorities, Windows servers, Group Policy, and NAS storage systems.
This position is ideal for candidates with real-world exposure to enterprise IT infrastructure and firewall security who want to grow in system and network administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Windows Server administration including Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP
- Group Policy creation, management, and troubleshooting
- Sophos Firewall administration including rule creation, rule priority, NAT, VPN, and security policies
- Monitoring Sophos firewall logs, traffic, threats, and alerts
- Firewall rule optimization for performance and security
- Network management including LAN, WAN, and VPN connectivity
- NAS management including storage allocation, access permissions, and monitoring
- System monitoring, patching, backups, and troubleshooting
- Ensure network uptime, data security, and policy compliance
- Maintain technical documentation and configuration records
Required Skills and Keywords
Must Have
- 1+ year experience as System Administrator or Network Administrator
- Strong hands-on experience with Sophos Firewall
- Firewall rule configuration and priority management
- Windows Server and Active Directory administration
- Group Policy management experience
- Networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing
- NAS or network storage management experience
Good to Have
- Sophos VPN configuration experience
- Backup and disaster recovery knowledge
- Linux server exposure
- IT security best practices
