We're Migrating from Selenium to Playwright, looking for a Selenium or Playwright QA Automation Engineer to join our Hyderabad team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys solving real-world problems, and has hands-on experience in QA Automation using Selenium or Playwright.
As a QA Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to validate the functionality, performance, and security of our applications.
- Ability to hit the ground running and start contributing to deliverables immediately
- Ability to work independently with a minimal supervision
- Develop and execute automated test scripts for REST APIs using Postman or Rest Assured.
- Design and maintain scalable automation frameworks for UI and API testing.
- Hands-on experience with API Automation Testing.
- Automate API testing using tools/frameworks such as Rest Assured, Karate, Newman, or similar.
- Experience in UI Automation using Selenium WebDriver or Playwright.
- Good understanding of RESTful APIs, HTTP methods, JSON, XML, and API validations.
- Validate API requests, responses, schema, authentication, and data integrity.
- Execute database validation using SQL queries.
- Work closely with developers, product owners, and QA teams to understand requirements and create test scenarios.
- Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and track issues to closure.
- Prepare test reports and maintain testing documentation.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
- 6-8 years of QA automation experience in Web based Applications and API testing.
- Strong problem-solving skills, analytical, and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication skills and collaboration skills.
- Automate web application testing using tools such as Selenium or Playwright.
- Design, develop, and maintain API test cases and test scripts.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end API testing.
- Experience with load testing, performance testing, and compatibility testing tools experience using JMeter or LoadRunner or similar.
- Hands-on experience with Postman, SoapUI, Swagger, or similar tools.
