Job Purpose
We are looking for a Quality Executive with 2–3 years of experience in Incoming Quality / Supplier Quality, preferably from the Fasteners / Automotive Components / Engineering industry, to ensure that incoming raw materials, components and purchased parts meet defined quality standards and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect and approve incoming raw materials, fasteners, bought-out components and consumables as per specifications and purchase requirements.
- Verify incoming material against PO, drawing, specifications, inspection standards and supplier documents.
- Perform dimensional inspection using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Thread Gauges, Plug/Ring Gauges and other measuring instruments.
- Check fastener characteristics such as thread dimensions, head dimensions, length, diameter, surface finish and visual defects.
- Verify Material Test Certificates (MTC), Mill Test Certificates, inspection reports and supplier quality documents.
- Coordinate with external laboratories for chemical, mechanical, hardness, coating and other required testing.
- Ensure proper identification, traceability, segregation and disposition of accepted, rejected and hold materials.
- Raise NCRs for non-conforming incoming materials and coordinate corrective actions with suppliers.
- Follow up with suppliers for Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Corrective Action / Preventive Action (CAPA) and closure of quality issues.
- Monitor supplier quality performance and maintain Supplier Quality / Incoming Inspection records.
- Support supplier development and conduct supplier visits/audits when required.
- Maintain inspection reports, rejection records, calibration records and quality documentation.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Stores, Production and Supplier Development teams to resolve quality issues.
- Ensure measuring instruments are properly calibrated and available for inspection activities.
- Follow company Quality Management System procedures, ISO/IATF requirements and customer-specific requirements.
Required Qualification & Skills
- 2–3 years of experience in Incoming Quality / Supplier Quality.
- Experience in Fasteners / Automotive Components / Engineering Industry preferred.
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Metallurgy or equivalent.
- Good knowledge of fastener dimensions, threads, grades, materials and inspection methods.
- Hands-on experience with Vernier, Micrometer, Thread Gauges, Height Gauge and other measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of drawing reading, GD&T basics, MTC, hardness and material testing.
- Basic knowledge of ISO 9001 / IATF 16949, 7 QC tools, 8D, RCA and CAPA is preferred.
- Good documentation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with suppliers and internal departments.

Ideal Candidate
A quality-focused and detail-oriented professional with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in incoming inspection, preferably in the fasteners industry, with strong knowledge of dimensional inspection, material certification, supplier quality and non-conformance handling.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
