Job Summary:
We are looking for a responsible and customer-friendly shopkeeper to manage daily retail operations in an FMCG store. The role involves handling customers, managing stock, and ensuring smooth store functioning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a polite and professional manner
- Sell FMCG products such as groceries, packaged foods, personal care items, etc.
- Handle billing and cash transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and proper arrangement of the store
- Monitor inventory levels and restock shelves when needed
- Check expiry dates and remove outdated products
- Maintain daily sales records
- Handle customer queries and complaints effectively
- Coordinate with suppliers for stock replenishment
Requirements:
- Minimum education: 10th / 12th pass
- Basic knowledge of FMCG products
- Good communication skills (local language + basic Hindi/English)
- Basic math and billing knowledge
- Honest, punctual, and responsible
- Prior retail/shop experience preferred (not mandatory)
Working Hours:
- 8–10 hours per day
- Weekly off as per store policy
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
