Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced IT Network Manager to lead the design, implementation, management, and troubleshooting of enterprise network infrastructure across cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Cisco/Juniper/Arista networking, Palo Alto/Fortinet firewalls, LAN/WAN, routing and switching, cloud networking, SD-WAN, VPNs, network security, and network monitoring.
The candidate will also be responsible for managing network infrastructure across multiple branch locations and coordinating with internal IT, InfoSec, Admin, support teams, and external service partners.
Key ResponsibilitiesNetwork Infrastructure & Operations
- Design, implement, and manage enterprise LAN/WAN infrastructure.
- Configure and troubleshoot routing and switching protocols including BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
- Configure and manage Cisco or similar CLI-based network devices.
- Manage routers, switches, Wi-Fi, SD-WAN, network racks, cabling, and related network assets.
- Ensure high availability, optimal performance, and adherence to SLAs.
- Manage day-to-day network operations across multiple branch locations.
Network Security
- Implement network segmentation and access control policies.
- Configure and manage VPNs for secure connectivity across hybrid environments.
- Manage enterprise firewalls including:
- Palo Alto Networks
- Fortinet FortiGate
- GCP Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW)
- Participate in security audits, vulnerability assessments, and incident response activities.
Cloud Networking
- Design and manage network infrastructure across Azure and GCP.
- Work on VPC/VNet architecture, peering, interconnectivity, and hybrid connectivity.
- Manage cloud connectivity solutions such as ExpressRoute and Direct Connect/interconnect services.
- Collaborate with DevOps and InfoSec teams to build secure and scalable network architectures.
Network Monitoring & Performance
- Monitor network health, availability, and performance.
- Identify network bottlenecks and implement proactive improvements.
- Troubleshoot complex network issues and minimize downtime.
- Use monitoring and troubleshooting tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, Wireshark, or similar tools.
Branch Network & Asset Management
- Manage network asset inventory across Pan India branches.
- Coordinate deployment, installation, replacement, and maintenance of:
- SD-WAN
- Routers
- Switches
- Wi-Fi equipment
- Network racks
- Cabling
- Coordinate with Admin, IT Support, courier partners, and other vendors for equipment movement and deployment.
Documentation & Automation
- Maintain network diagrams, IP addressing schemes, configurations, and SOPs.
- Maintain accurate network documentation and infrastructure records.
- Support network automation initiatives using Python, Ansible, Terraform, or similar technologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise network infrastructure and operations.
- Strong experience with network OEM technologies such as:
- Cisco
- Juniper
- Arista
- Palo Alto
- Fortinet
- Strong understanding of LAN/WAN, routing, switching, BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
- Hands-on experience with firewalls, VPNs, network segmentation, and access control.
- Experience managing cloud networking across Azure and GCP.
- Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills.
- Experience with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, and Wireshark.
- Knowledge of Python, Ansible, Terraform, or other network automation technologies.
- Experience working with OEM/vendor TAC support is preferred.
- Strong communication, coordination, and team-management skills.
Preferred Experience
- Experience managing Pan India branch networks.
- Experience with SD-WAN deployments.
- Experience in hybrid cloud and on-premise network architecture.
- Experience collaborating with InfoSec, DevOps, IT Support, and infrastructure teams.
- Experience with enterprise network security and vulnerability assessments.
