We are looking for an experienced SPM Assembly Technician with hands-on experience in the assembly of Special Purpose Machines (SPM). The candidate should be capable of independently assembling mechanical systems by following engineering drawings and maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble SPM (Special Purpose Machines) as per assembly drawings.
- Fit and assemble mechanical components, sub-assemblies, and complete machines.
- Interpret mechanical drawings and assembly layouts.
- Align machine components and ensure dimensional accuracy.
- Install linear guides, ball screws, bearings, gearboxes, cylinders, motors, and other machine components.
- Support machine testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning.
- Coordinate with the Design, Electrical, and Production teams.
- Follow safety and quality standards during assembly.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in SPM Machine Assembly.
- Ability to read and understand mechanical assembly drawings.
- Hands-on experience with machine fitting and assembly tools.
- Knowledge of pneumatic systems is an added advantage.
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
