We are seeking a detail-oriented, energetic, and highly motivated B.Com Graduate to join our finance and accounts team as an Accounts Executive. This entry-level role is perfect for a fresher looking to build a strong foundation in corporate accounting, financial operations, and statutory compliance. You will work closely with senior accounts team members and statutory auditors to ensure accurate financial record-keeping.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Entry & Ledger Management: Record daily financial transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries in accounting software (Tally Prime / ERP).
- Invoicing & Documentation: Prepare, verify, and process vendor invoices, customer bills, and vouchers. Maintain an organized physical and digital filing system for all financial records.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliation statements (BRS) to ensure internal books align with bank records.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Monitor outstanding vendor payments and assist in tracking aging accounts receivables to ensure timely collections.
- Statutory Compliance Support: Assist the senior team in compiling data for GST (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B), TDS returns, and routine tax filings.
- Audit Assistance: Support senior accountants and internal/statutory auditors during periodic audits by retrieving requested files, vouchers, and ledger schedules.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree completed.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong foundational understanding of core accounting concepts (Golden Rules of Accounting, Debit/Credit principles, and Finalization basics).
- Software Skills: Hands-on training or basic familiarity with Tally Prime or equivalent ERP software, along with a good command of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic formulas).
- Soft Skills: High attention to detail, strong numerical accuracy, integrity, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
