Experience:
4-8 years of professional experience as a Video Editor Strong hands-on expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro Working knowledge of After Effects (motion graphics, basic animations) Solid understanding of video formats, codecs, resolutions, and export settings Experience editing videos for digital platforms and social media Strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics Ability to manage multiple projects and tight timelines Comfortable working in a startup, ad-hoc, fast-changing environment A strong portfolio showcasing relevant video work
About the role:
We’re looking for a hands-on Video Editor who can transform ideas, products, and stories into compelling visual content. You’ll work closely with Marketing, Product, and Design teams to create high-impact videos across social media, product demos, explainers, advertisements, tutorials, and brand campaigns. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, can manage tight timelines and evolving creative requirements, and consistently delivers high-quality content while maintaining strong brand consistency.
Roles:
Edit raw footage into polished, high-quality videos including product demos, promotional content, tutorials, customer stories, advertisements, and internal communications. Manage end-to-end post-production, including editing, transitions, pacing, sound synchronization, exports, and quality assurance. Create and optimize short-form and long-form content for LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, websites, paid campaigns, and email marketing. Develop performance-focused ad creatives and repurpose content into reels, shorts, teasers, snippets, and platform-specific formats. Add motion graphics, titles, lower-thirds, transitions, visual effects, and basic animations using industry-standard tools. Apply color correction, color grading, sound design, background music, and audio enhancements to ensure professional-quality output. Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, and Design teams to understand creative briefs, contribute storytelling ideas, and execute impactful visual content. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adapting quickly to feedback, changing priorities, and tight deadlines. Organize and maintain video assets, raw footage, project files, backups, and version control processes. Support content creation across paid channels (Google, LinkedIn, Meta), organic channels (social media, YouTube, website), direct marketing initiatives, and events such as webinars, demos, conferences, and product launches.
Qualification:
Experience with DaVinci Resolve (color grading advantage) Basic sound design and audio mixing skills Experience editing performance or ad- focused content Familiarity with AI-based video tools or workflows Experience working with SaaS, tech, or product companies Ability to create simple thumbnails or visual assets The candidate will have to work with tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Figma, Canva, Adobe Audition, Notion, and Google Workspace while creating content for platforms including YouTube, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
