Hostel Administration Officer
Job Summary
The Hostel Administrator is responsible for the overall management of hostel operations, ensuring student safety, discipline, welfare, and smooth day-to-day functioning of the residential facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily hostel operations and resident services.
- Allocate rooms, maintain occupancy records, and handle admissions/check-ins/check-outs.
- Monitor student attendance, entry/exit registers, and visitor management.
- Maintain inventory records and hostel documentation.
- Respond to emergencies, medical situations, and safety incidents.
- Communicate with parents/guardians and institute management regarding student welfare when required.
- Prepare reports related to hostel operations, discipline, occupancy, and incidents.

- Record-keeping and reporting proficiency.
- Ability to handle students with patience and professionalism.
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, email, reporting tools).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (preferred).
- Experience in hostel administration, student affairs, residential facilities, education, or welfare management.
- Experience handling adolescents or student communities is often preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
