Job Summary
The Store Incharge is responsible for managing the receipt, storage, issuance, and inventory of raw materials, consumables, spare parts, and finished goods. The role ensures accurate stock records, timely material availability for production, and compliance with company procedures and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery documents.
- Store materials systematically to ensure easy identification and safe handling.
- Issue materials to production departments as per approved requisitions.
- Maintain accurate stock records in ERP/software and physical registers.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the purchase department for timely replenishment.
- Conduct daily, monthly, and annual physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
- Maintain proper documentation for Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), material issue slips, stock transfers, and return notes.
- Ensure FIFO/FEFO practices where applicable.
- Prevent material loss, damage, pilferage, and obsolescence through proper storage and monitoring.
- Coordinate with production, procurement, quality, and accounts departments for smooth material flow.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety within the store area.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, inventory control procedures, and statutory requirements.
- Prepare inventory, consumption, and stock movement reports for management.
- Supervise store assistants and allocate daily work when applicable.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Commerce, or a related field.
- Good knowledge of inventory management and documentation.
- Ex-military personnel with experience in stores, logistics, inventory management, ordnance, or warehouse operations are strongly preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
