The Bodyshop Advisor serves as the primary point of contact for customers requiring accident repairs, denting, painting, and bodywork services. The role involves assessing vehicle damage, preparing repair estimates, coordinating with insurance companies and workshop staff, ensuring timely repairs, and delivering an exceptional customer experience throughout the repair process.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and understand vehicle damage, repair requirements, and concerns.
- Inspect vehicles and prepare accurate repair estimates.
- Open job cards and ensure all customer and vehicle details are correctly recorded.
- Coordinate with insurance surveyors for claim inspections, approvals, and documentation.
- Explain repair procedures, estimated costs, and delivery timelines to customers.
- Obtain customer approval before commencing repair work.
- Coordinate with bodyshop technicians, painters, estimators, and the parts department to ensure smooth workflow.
- Monitor repair progress and provide customers with regular updates.
- Ensure repairs are completed as per Hyundai quality standards before vehicle delivery.
- Conduct final vehicle inspection prior to handover.
- Prepare invoices and ensure all documentation is completed accurately.
- Promote value-added services such as detailing, ceramic coating, anti-rust coating, paint protection, and accessories whenever appropriate.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and ensure timely resolution.
- Follow up with customers after vehicle delivery to obtain feedback and maintain customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate service records, insurance documents, and repair history.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or any graduate.
- 1–3 years of experience as a Bodyshop Advisor, Service Advisor, or in an automobile dealership.
- Freshers with relevant technical qualifications may also apply.
