TYKA Sports, a leading sportswear and apparel manufacturing company, is looking for a responsible and organized Fabric Store In charge to manage fabric inventory and ensure smooth store operations. The ideal candidate should have experience in inventory management, fabric handling, and maintaining accurate stock records.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the fabric store.
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming fabric.
- Issue fabric to production departments as per approved requisitions.
- Maintain accurate stock records and inventory reports.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconciliation.
- Ensure proper storage, identification, and handling of fabrics.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the Purchase Department for replenishment.
- Maintain store documentation, including GRNs, issue slips, and stock registers.
- Minimize fabric wastage and report any shortages or discrepancies.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization within the store.
Requirements
- Graduate or Diploma holder.
- 2–5 years of experience as a Store Incharge or Fabric Store Executive in the garment/apparel industry.
- Good knowledge of fabric types and inventory management.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and inventory management software.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production requirements.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of ERP software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
