WOGOM (World Goods Marketplace) is a technology-driven B2B commerce platform connecting OEMs, brands, and distributors with retailers across India. We build high-potential categories by enabling the right supply partnerships and powering efficient, scalable trade through digital infrastructure.
We are hiring a Category Manager to build and scale B2B categories on WOGOM by tying up with OEMs, manufacturers, importers, and brands. This is a category creation and sourcing role.
- Identify high-potential B2B categories and sub-categories (whitespace opportunities)
- Tie up with OEMs, manufacturers, importers, and strong regional/national brands
- Lead commercial negotiations (pricing, margins, MOQ, credit terms)
- Design category architecture – SKU mix, price bands, margin structure
- Onboard partners and make categories sales-ready
- Enable sales teams with category logic and partner USPs
- Track category health – SKUs, margins, GMV, and partner performance
- 7–12 years experience in category management, OEM/manufacturer partnerships, sourcing, or brand onboarding
- Strong negotiation and commercial structuring skills
- Exposure to B2B trade ecosystems or marketplaces
- Comfortable working in a startup, zero-to-one environment
- Structured, data-driven, and hands-on mindset
- OEM sourcing exposure (India / China / SEA)
- Private label / white-label experience
- Experience with B2B or trade-tech platforms
- Own category creation from scratch
- Work directly with OEMs and national brands
- High visibility and decision-making authority
- Fast-track growth into Category Head / Business Head roles
- Performance-linked incentives and long-term growth
