Job Summary
The Staff Nurse is responsible for delivering safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care to patients admitted to the Rehabilitation Centre. The role involves monitoring patient health, administering medications, assisting in rehabilitation programs, maintaining clinical documentation, coordinating with the multidisciplinary team, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Care
- Provide comprehensive nursing care as per the treatment and rehabilitation plan.
- Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
- Administer medications, injections, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed by the treating physician.
- Observe patients for any changes in condition and promptly inform the doctor or Clinical Head.
- Assist doctors during medical procedures and emergencies.
- Manage wound dressing, catheter care, tracheostomy care, Ryle's tube feeding, suctioning, oxygen therapy, and other nursing procedures as required.
- Ensure patient comfort, safety, dignity, and infection prevention at all times.
Rehabilitation Support
- Coordinate with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, psychologists, dieticians, and other rehabilitation professionals.
- Encourage and assist patients in achieving rehabilitation goals.
- Educate patients and caregivers regarding medications, rehabilitation exercises, nutrition, and home care.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate nursing notes, medication administration records, treatment charts, and patient files.
- Complete all documentation before the end of each shift.
- Ensure proper handover to the incoming nursing staff.
- Follow all NABH standards, infection control protocols, and clinical policies of 2050 Healthcare.
- Report clinical incidents, medication errors, or patient safety concerns immediately.
Ward & Equipment Management
- Ensure cleanliness and readiness of patient rooms and nursing stations.
- Check emergency trolley, oxygen cylinders, and medical equipment daily.
- Maintain adequate stock of medicines and consumables and report shortages promptly.
Communication
- Maintain effective communication with patients, family members, doctors, and the multidisciplinary team.
- Participate in clinical meetings, case discussions, and training sessions.
Qualifications
- ANM/GNM or B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institute.
- Valid State Nursing Council Registration.
- BLS/CPR certification will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 0–3 years of experience in a hospital, ICU, rehabilitation centre, or home healthcare.
- Freshers with good clinical knowledge are encouraged to apply.

Working Conditions
- Rotational shifts (Day/Night).
- Weekly off as per roster.
- Duty on weekends and public holidays as per operational requirements.

- Medication administration accuracy.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
