Position Summary
We are hiring an experienced Production & Installation Supervisor who can manage fabrication work in the workshop and supervise hydraulic goods lift installation at customer sites. Candidate should be strong in fabrication supervision, lift installation coordination, quality control, and manpower handling.
Key ResponsibilitiesWorkshop / Production Responsibilities
- Supervise fabrication and production activities for:
- Hydraulic Goods Lifts
- Scissor lifts
- Lift structures, cabins, platforms, gates
- Ensure proper welding quality (MIG/ARC) and alignment accuracy.
- Ensure material cutting, drilling, fitting, and finishing as per standards.
- Coordinate with store/purchase team for material requirement planning.
- Maintain daily production schedule and report progress to Owner.
Installation / Site Responsibilities
- Supervise complete hydraulic goods lift installation at site:
- Structure erection & alignment
- Platform installation
- Guide rails, wire rope fixing
- Cylinder installation, power pack placement
- Hose/pipe routing and hydraulic connections
- Electrical wiring coordination with electrician
- Door/gate installation and interlocks coordination
- Ensure safety compliance at site.
- Coordinate with customer for site readiness and completion planning.
- Handle manpower team (fabricators, welders, helpers).
- Troubleshooting issues during installation and commissioning.
Quality & Reporting
- Ensure all work is done with proper finishing and safety.
- Maintain site checklist and update owner daily.
- Ensure project completion within committed timeline.
- Reduce wastage and control site expenses.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge in fabrication and erection work.
- Good understanding of hydraulic goods lift installation.
- Ability to read basic drawings and measurements.
- Must handle labour discipline and team productivity.
- Must be confident in site execution and customer coordination.
Qualification
- Diploma Mechanical (Preferred)
- OR ITI Fitter / ITI Mechanical with strong experience
Experience
- Minimum 5 years experience in:
- Lift installation / fabrication supervision
- Hydraulic goods lift / elevator erection industry
Other Requirements
- Willing to travel to sites (Telangana / Karnataka / South India)
- Should have leadership and decision-making capability
- Should maintain professional behaviour with customers and workers
Salary
As per experience + performance incentive.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹10,192.33 - ₹25,520.27 per month
