Job Summary
Rabwin Mouldsmith Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a Quality Control Inspector with hands-on experience in machine manufacturing and precision component inspection. The candidate will be responsible for inspecting raw materials, machined components, fabricated parts, and finished assemblies to ensure they meet the required dimensional and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect machined and manufactured components at various stages of production.
- Perform dimensional inspection using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, and other measuring instruments.
- Accurately measure component length, width, thickness, diameter, depth, hole size, and other critical dimensions.
- Read and understand engineering drawings, component drawings, and dimensional tolerances.
- Verify components against specified dimensions, tolerances, and quality requirements.
- Identify and report dimensional defects, machining defects, surface defects, and other quality issues.
- Conduct in-process and final inspection of components.
- Maintain inspection reports, measurement records, and quality documentation.
- Coordinate with the Production and Machining teams to resolve quality issues.
- Ensure rejected/non-conforming components are properly identified and controlled.
- Support root-cause analysis and corrective actions for recurring quality problems.
- Maintain and handle measuring instruments properly and ensure they are available for inspection.
- Follow company quality procedures, safety requirements, and 5S practices.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of machine components and manufacturing processes.
- Strong practical knowledge of Vernier Caliper measurement and dimensional inspection.
- Knowledge of Micrometer and other precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and tolerances.
- Knowledge of basic machining operations and component manufacturing.
- Good observation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to identify dimensional and manufacturing defects.
- Basic knowledge of quality inspection procedures and documentation.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Educational Qualification
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Candidates with relevant experience in Quality Control / Quality Inspection / Machining will be preferred.
Experience
2–5 years of experience in Quality Control/Inspection, preferably in machine manufacturing, machining, fabrication, or precision component manufacturing.
Preferred Candidate
Candidates who have practical experience in inspecting machine components and taking accurate measurements using Vernier Caliper and Micrometer, along with the ability to understand engineering drawings and tolerances, are preferred.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
