- Room Cleaning & Servicing: Clean, dust, vacuum, and sanitize guest rooms, suites, and bathrooms in accordance with hotel standards. Change bed linens, make beds, and replenish amenities (soaps, towels, mini-bar items).
- Public Area Maintenance: Keep lobbies, hallways, elevators, public restrooms, and employee areas spotless, safe, and free of clutter throughout the shift.
- Linen & Laundry Handling: Collect soiled linens and towels, sort them, and send them to the laundry department. Count and stock fresh linens into housekeeping pantries and carts.
- Guest Requests & Service: Deliver extra pillows, iron boards, or baby cots promptly when requested by guests. Address guest inquiries with a polite and professional attitude.
- Defect Reporting: Inspect rooms during cleaning and immediately report maintenance issues (e.g., leaking faucets, fused lightbulbs, broken furniture) to the supervisor.
- Lost & Found: Securely document and turn in any items left behind by guests to the housekeeping desk following hotel protocols.
Key Requirements & Skills
- Experience: 0–2 years of experience in housekeeping or laundry services in a hotel, resort, or service apartment. Entry-level candidates with formal hospitality training are welcome.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with professional cleaning chemicals, sanitization methods, and correct lifting/bending techniques.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent. A certificate or vocational training in Housekeeping/Hotel Operations is a strong advantage.
- Attributes: Exceptional eye for detail, reliable physical stamina to lift heavy items and stay on your feet for long hours, and strong time management skills to clean a targeted number of rooms per shift.
Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
