Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to lead our Service Vertical as the Service Head. This senior role is integral to ensuring the successful deployment of after-sales services and driving business opportunities within this arena.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the after-sales service operations, including warranty services, maintenance contracts, and equipment reconditioning.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for service operations, focusing on efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.
- Deploy and allocate manpower effectively, ensuring the right skill sets are available at various sites.
- Oversee and mentor a diverse team of service engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance service offerings and business development efforts.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Manage budgets and closely monitor service performance metrics.
- Engage directly with clients to address service needs, feedback, and build long-term relationships.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 10 - 15 years of hands-on experience in maintenance activities of similar sophisticated equipment.
- Comprehensive expertise in mechanical, electrical, electronics, hydraulics, pneumatic systems, including PLC maintenance.
- Proven leadership skills with experience in team management and strategic planning.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and customer service orientation.
- Strong administrative, communication and interpersonal skills.
