Job Description: Senior Desktop Support Engineer
Location: Vadodara, Gujarat
Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Desktop Support Engineer to provide advanced technical support for end users and IT infrastructure. The candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting desktop, laptop, operating system, hardware, software, network, and peripheral-related issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L2/L3 technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT peripherals.
- Troubleshoot Windows OS, software, hardware, and application-related issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop and laptop systems.
- Troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi, IP addressing, DNS, and DHCP-related issues.
- Support Active Directory user accounts, password resets, and basic Group Policy-related tasks.
- Configure and troubleshoot printers and network peripherals.
- Perform software installation, patching, upgrades, and system maintenance.
- Troubleshoot Outlook, Microsoft 365, Teams, and other end-user applications.
- Manage IT assets and maintain accurate hardware/software inventory.
- Handle incident tickets and ensure timely resolution as per SLA.
- Provide remote and on-site technical support to users.
- Coordinate with internal teams and vendors for issue resolution.
- Prepare technical documentation and maintain troubleshooting records.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 desktop troubleshooting.
- Good knowledge of computer hardware and peripherals.
- Basic to good knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy.
- Knowledge of LAN, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Outlook, and Teams troubleshooting.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
Qualification
Diploma / Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.
Experience
3–6 years of experience in Desktop Support / IT Support.
