Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Senior Barista to join our cafe team. The ideal candidate should have strong coffee knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to deliver excellent customer service while maintaining high quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, espresso, and specialty beverages
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and service standards
- Supervise and support junior baristas and cafe staff
- Handle customer queries and resolve complaints professionally
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the workstation as per FSSAI standards
- Manage daily opening and closing duties when required
- Monitor inventory, stock levels, and report shortages
- Follow SOPs, recipes, and company guidelines
Requirements
- Minimum 1.5/2 years of experience as a Barista (Senior/Lead role preferred)
- Strong knowledge of coffee beans, brewing methods, and equipment
- Experience with espresso machines and grinders
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead a team and work under pressure
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Certification in Barista/coffee training is a plus
