Role: Global Chains Optimization Manager
Role Summary
The Global Chains Optimization Manager will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and growing business with global hotel chains across international markets. The role will focus on farming existing chain relationships, improving production performance, increasing share of wallet, driving rate competitiveness, and identifying growth opportunities within existing partnerships.
This is a strategic account management role based in India, responsible for maximizing business value from key chain partnerships through continuous performance monitoring, commercial coordination, and operational optimization.
Key Responsibilities
Chain Relationship Management

Support Global Chain Head to manage relationships with assigned global and regional hotel chains.
- Act as a single point of contact for strategic chain-level coordination.
- Build strong working relationships with revenue, distribution, and account management teams of hotel chains.
Conduct regular business reviews with chain partners.

Farming & Business Growth

Focus on growing production and share of wallet from existing chain partnerships.
- Identify opportunities for expansion across destinations, properties, and markets.
- Drive participation in tactical campaigns, promotions, and seasonal offers.
Work on improving conversion and competitiveness of chain inventory.

Commercial Optimization

Monitor chain-level production, profitability, and competitiveness.
- Identify gaps in pricing, inventory availability, room mapping, and promotional participation.
- Coordinate with chains for rate plan optimization and commercial improvements.
Work towards improving direct contracting contribution and reducing dependency on third-party suppliers.

Marketplace & Supply Optimization

Ensure healthy inventory flow and rate competitiveness across key destinations.
- Coordinate with Connectivity, Loading, Product, and Operations teams for issue resolution.
- Monitor chain content quality, mapping accuracy, and inventory health.
Drive optimization initiatives to improve marketplace performance.

Data Analysis & Reporting

Analyze production trends, market share, and supplier performance.
- Prepare business performance reports and optimization strategies for management.
- Track KPIs related to chain growth, competitiveness, and operational efficiency.
Share actionable insights for revenue and supply growth.

Strategic Initiatives

Support onboarding of new chain partnerships where required.
- Identify opportunities for exclusive partnerships and preferred agreements.
- Participate in strategic supply projects and automation initiatives.
- Work closely with leadership on long-term chain growth plans.
