Job Summary
We are looking for an energetic and empathetic Student Coordinator to be the primary point of contact for our students throughout their learning journey. From admission and onboarding to batch completion and placement handover, you will ensure every student stays engaged, supported, and on track. Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for students - handle enquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally
- Manage student onboarding, orientation sessions, and course induction for new batches
- Coordinate batch schedules, class timetables, and trainer allocation in consultation with the academic team
- Track student attendance, follow up on absentees, and counsel students at risk of dropping out
- Monitor academic progress, coordinate assessments and mock tests, and share progress reports with students and parents
- Maintain accurate student records, batch data, and MIS reports using Excel/Google Sheets and CRM/LMS tools
- Coordinate fee reminders and follow-ups in liaison with the accounts team
- Liaise between students, trainers, placement team, and management to resolve issues quickly
- Collect course feedback, run student satisfaction checks, and escalate improvement suggestions
- Organise student engagement activities - workshops, seminars, demo sessions, tech events, and community meetups
- Support the placement team with student readiness tracking, documentation, and interview scheduling
- Handle parent interactions with patience and clarity regarding progress and attendance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline
- 1–2 years of experience as a Student Coordinator, Academic Coordinator, Student Counsellor, or similar role in an IT training institute, ed-tech company, or educational organisation (preferred)
- Freshers with excellent communication skills and a passion for student success may also apply
- Strong communication skills in English and Malayalam
- Excellent organisational, multitasking, and follow-up skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in MS Office / Google Workspace (Excel, Word, email, calendars); familiarity with CRM/LMS tools is an advantage
- A friendly, service-oriented mindset with the ability to handle student and parent interactions tactfully
- Basic understanding of IT courses and career paths (Full Stack, Data Science, Testing, UI/UX, etc.) is a plus
