Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Solar Project Manager to lead utility-scale, commercial, industrial, and rooftop solar projects from planning through commissioning. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in project execution, EPC management, vendor coordination, client handling, budgeting, and ensuring timely project completion while maintaining the highest quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end execution of solar EPC projects.
- Plan project schedules, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and government authorities.
- Supervise civil, structural, electrical, and mechanical installation activities.
- Monitor project progress, cost, quality, and timelines.
- Ensure compliance with MNRE, DISCOM, CEIG, and statutory regulations.
- Lead site engineers, project engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
- Review engineering drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation plans.
- Manage procurement coordination and material planning.
- Ensure adherence to HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly project progress reports.
- Coordinate testing, commissioning, and project handover.
- Resolve technical and operational challenges during project execution.
- Drive continuous process improvement and project efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or Renewable Energy.
- PMP/PRINCE2 certification is an added advantage.
- 8–15 years of experience in Solar EPC Project Management.
- Experience in MW-scale ground-mounted or C&I solar projects is preferred.
