About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven B2B Sales Engineer to drive sales of Fire Pump Systems, Fire Protection Equipment, and Engineering Solutions. The candidate will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, developing relationships with consultants, contractors, builders, industries, and end users, and achieving sales targets.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Sales
- Generate new business opportunities for Fire Pump Systems, Fire Protection Equipment, and related engineering products.
- Identify and develop relationships with consultants, MEP contractors, fire contractors, builders, industrial customers, and facility management companies.
- Conduct site visits, customer meetings, and technical presentations.
- Promote products and services to prospective customers and key stakeholders.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Customer Relationship Management
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and key accounts.
- Follow up on inquiries, quotations, and negotiations to secure orders.
- Provide technical and commercial support to customers.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Tender & Quotation Management
- Review customer requirements, specifications, and tender documents.
- Coordinate with the technical team for proposal preparation and costing.
- Prepare and submit techno-commercial offers.
- Track quotations and update customers regularly.
Market Development
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
- Identify upcoming projects in commercial, industrial, residential, and infrastructure sectors.
- Develop strategies to increase market share and business growth.
Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain customer records and sales activities in CRM.
- Prepare weekly sales reports, pipeline updates, and sales forecasts.
- Track project status from inquiry to order execution.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Fire Engineering, or related Engineering field.
- 2–8 years of experience in B2B sales of Fire Pump Systems, Fire Protection Equipment, Industrial Pumps, Diesel Engines, MEP, HVAC, or Engineering Products.
- Freshers with strong technical knowledge and sales aptitude may also apply for junior positions.
Required Skills
- Strong technical and commercial understanding.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to read technical specifications and engineering drawings.
- Customer-focused approach with relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel for customer meetings and site visits.
