Job Purpose
Our client is seeking an experienced and highly organized Accounts Manager to lead our Accounts team. The ideal candidate will oversee daily Accounting operations, ensure flawless accounting entries using Genesys software, manage cash flow efficiently, and maintain strict tax compliance and internal controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Workflow Management: Supervise, guide, and manage the daily tasks of the accounts executives to ensure accurate, error-free, and timely ledger closures.
- ERP & Software Ownership: Oversee all financial data entry, billing workflows, inventory accounting, and ledger postings inside the Genesys accounting software platform.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable (AP/AR): Oversee standard AP/AR cycles, ensuring the timely processing of vendor payments and accurate recording of incoming revenue streams.
- Internal Controls & Authorization: Act as the primary verification point for routine vendor bills, retail payouts, and operational expenses, strictly enforcing the company's internal authorization matrix.
- Banking & Cash Flow Management: Execute daily bank reconciliations, manage retail cash-in-hand velocity, and monitor the utilization of bank overdraft (OD) facilities to ensure adequate liquidity.
- Tax & Statutory Compliance: Ensure the accurate calculation, timely filing, and payment of all statutory obligations, including GST, TDS, ESI, and PF, with zero penalties.
- Export Accounting & Documentation: Maintain accounting records related to export sales, foreign currency receipts, and export incentives. Verify export invoices, shipping bills, packing lists, and related export documents.
- Track export receivables and ensure timely realization of export proceeds.
- Ensure compliance with RBI, GST, and DGFT regulations relating to exports.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Educational Background: B.Com, M.Com, or Semi-Qualified CA/CMA/ACCA.
- Professional Experience: 4 to 8 years of core accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial or team-lead capacity. Experience in the Retail, Textile, or FMCG sectors is highly preferred.
Technical Proficiency:
- Hands-on, operational expertise in Genesys accounting software (or similar comprehensive ERP systems).
- Strong command of advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Communication Skills: Fluent in Malayalam and English (verbal and written) to ensure seamless coordination with local weavers, internal departments, and external corporate distributors.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Financial Efficiency: Accurate management of working capital, timely vendor payouts, and reliable cash flow forecasting.
- Data Integrity: Zero discrepancy rates in daily data entry, invoicing, and inventory mapping within the ERP system.
- Statutory Adherence: 100% on-time filing and remittance of all statutory tax returns and compliance submissions.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
