Role Summary
Pixnut is hiring a full-time Video Editor and Animator to lead the editing and visual production for the Gulsabi project. Gulsabi is a kids learning and entertainment IP built around curiosity, questions, and playful discovery.
This role focuses on producing consistent YouTube content, shorts, and animated segments. The editor will work on quiz videos, character animations, sound sync, and motion graphics designed for young audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit long-form YouTube videos for Gulsabi episodes
- Create short-form videos for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and other platforms
- Animate the Gulsabi character and supporting visual elements
- Build quiz timers, transitions, and motion graphics
- Sync voiceovers, music, and sound effects
- Maintain consistent visual style across all videos
- Prepare videos in multiple formats and aspect ratios
- Organise project files and maintain editing workflow
Tools Required
- Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve
- After Effects or similar animation tools
- Basic Photoshop or Illustrator skills
- Familiarity with AI tools for video assets is useful
Skills Required
- Strong video editing ability
- Good sense of pacing for kids content
- Ability to create simple animations and motion graphics
- Strong timing in sound and visuals
- Attention to detail in editing and transitions
- Ability to follow structured content formats
Experience
- 1 to 3 years experience in video editing or animation
- Experience in YouTube content creation preferred
