IGCSE Biology Teacher – Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and experienced IGCSE Biology Teacher with a minimum of 2+ years of teaching experience in the Cambridge curriculum. The candidate should be capable of delivering engaging, inquiry-based Biology lessons that develop scientific understanding, critical thinking, and practical laboratory skills in students.
The teacher should demonstrate strong subject knowledge, effective classroom management, and a commitment to the holistic development of learners in alignment with the philosophy of Cambridge Assessment International Education.
Key ResponsibilitiesAcademic Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality Biology lessons for IGCSE students.
- Teach according to Cambridge syllabus objectives and assessment standards.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and practical activities.
- Conduct laboratory experiments ensuring safety procedures are followed.
- Differentiate instruction to meet varied learning needs.
Assessment & Evaluation
- Design and conduct:
- Formative assessments
- Summative assessments
- Practical evaluations
- Provide timely feedback and maintain student progress records.
- Prepare students for:
- Cambridge checkpoint/internal assessments
- IGCSE examinations
Pay: ₹10,124.75 - ₹69,593.27 per month
