Job Description:
Role Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The role involves design calculations, 3D/2D modeling, technical drawings, and BOM management for pump and rotary equipment projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create 3D models using SolidWorks and 2D drawings in AutoCAD
- Perform design calculations and material selection as per project requirements
- Develop component, machining, and fabrication drawings
- Prepare and release BOM in SAP and manage revisions
- Coordinate with manufacturing and cross-functional teams
- Provide technical support during production and resolve design issues
- Maintain proper design documentation and records
Qualifications & Skills:
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
- Proficiency in SolidWorks (3D) and AutoCAD (2D)
- Strong knowledge of design calculations, material selection, and GD&T
- Exposure to FEA (SolidWorks or equivalent) will be an added advantage
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
